Before becoming a business partner to the legal market, I was: In college 😊
I entered the legal market because: Law firms are a big part of our practice and appreciate the firm’s no-conflict platform.
I have a degree in: Communications and Economics.
I support ALA because: I’d like to get to know more about the challenges law firms are facing; and to become a resource for administrators.
To be successful in the legal market, one has to: Know how to build consensus.
The thing I like best about being a business partner to the legal market is: They tend to understand negotiating.
The best advice I have received is: Never make assumptions
The best advice I would give to someone just entering the legal market is: There is usually more than one decision maker, and you should endeavor to understand the objectives of each.
I try to motivate myself and/or my staff by: Not focusing too far into the future, just doing the best we can do for that day.
Three things I do well are: 1) Communicate, 2) Negotiate and 3) Maintain a sense of calm.
While I love my current job, my dream job would be: Investigative Journalist
