ADA Compliance …What Every Manager Needs to Know

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) has existed since 1990.  The ADA is a federal civil rights law providing protections for applicants and employees with disabilities. We know the ADA standards and regulations exist but how much do you really know about them?  Come join us as we learn from our speaker, Peter Berg:

  • What obligations do employers have under the ADA?
  • What are the rights of applicants/employees with disabilities?
  • What is the definition of disability and what are the concepts of “being qualified”?
  • What does reasonable accommodation entail?

Bring your difficult questions as there will also be time to address them.
