DESCRIPTION:       Provide office support to Human Resources Manager (including scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, correspondence, and phone coverage); Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, prepare all personnel paperwork for signature, including Lawyer, Legal Support Personnel and Staff Employment, Change, and Termination Forms; and perform data entry based on forms into the HRIS Lawson System; Maintain staff time sheet files and prepare staff leave records. Ensure timely submission of staff time sheets, following up with employees and managers/supervisors as necessary, Assist with orientation and video training sessions. Maintain files: Applicant files; Personnel files; I-9 files for active and terminated employees; Administer applicant testing, administer applicant background check; Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, overtime as needed.

Connecting staff with the Global Benefits and Global Retirement Benefits department as needed. - Acting as a point of contact and coordinating with the Global Benefits department regarding all office leaves of absence. - Maintaining relationships with all employees on leave of absence. The successful Human Resources Generalist must have comprehensive knowledge of human resource best practices and a fundamental knowledge of California labor laws. HRIS experience, preferably with PeopleSoft along with Kronos Timekeeper, is a plus. The Generalist will display well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm, and the organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines.
